Build production orders using various processes and equipment. The production process will involve working with chemicals, materials (metal sheets, coating, etc.), industrial equipment operating with high forces and temperature, and laser systems. The operator is expected to follow written and verbal specifications and properly document the processes performed when required. The operator will also visually inspect, test and manually package small components.
Job LocationVishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE. One of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e‑beam technology. Approximately 600 employees work in Columbus, NE. The role is a 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am). Overtime is available as needed.
Job Responsibilities- Follow the appropriate production specifications and complete the manufacture of products through processes as necessary per production cards.
- Perform basic machine adjustments as needed to run the process correctly and within specifications.
- Monitor the quality of all operations to assure the customer receives 100% good quality products.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds consistently.
- Ability to visually inspect requiring the aid of microscope or magnifying light.
- Eye‑hand coordination and good manual dexterity.
