Lead Reel Verifier - 1st shift

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE. Approximately 600 employees work in the Columbus facility.

Assists the Supervisor in organizing and directing workflow through the Reeling/Box Pack Department for the 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm). Overtime is available as needed. Trained on all packaging methods (Skin Pack, Box Pack & Universal Reelers), Pre-Ship Inspection and other operations as required.

• Verify label and ticket information on all re-rolled or box-packed orders before sending to FGS warehouse.
• Provide necessary packaging materials.
• Organize daily workflow in the reeling/box pack area to maximize efficiency and ensure on-time delivery.
• Fill in various packaging methods as needed.
• Learn and use the computer programs for pre-ship, barcoding and labeling.
• Learn basic skills on the Paradox program.
• Operate machinery and equipment and read and interpret specifications.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to measure using ruler and/or calipers.
