WWLD Material Handler - 1st shift

Job Location

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE – a leading manufacturer of resistors and e‑beam technology with approximately 600 employees.

Material Handler (1st shift, Monday‑Thursday 5:00 am‑3:30 pm, overtime available). Responsible for drawing necessary materials from stock, preparing materials as needed, and supplying them to operators to maintain line efficiency.

• Understand all processes and specifications within the department and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Survey material needs, schedule withdrawals, prepare materials, and furnish them to department operators.
• Move in‑process products between workstations.
• Run queries on the computer to determine manufacturing priorities and learn in‑house software.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three months to one year of relevant experience.
• Initial hazardous waste management procedures (RCRA) training within six months and annual refresher thereafter.
• Initial emergency contingency plan implementation training within six months and annual refresher thereafter.
