Summary
The CNC Laser Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC laser cutting equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up jobs, monitoring production, inspecting parts, and ensuring quality and safety standard are met.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesHigh School Diploma or GED
ExperiencePrevious CNC laser experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, micrometers)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Forklift or crane experience a plus
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Trumpf, Bystronic, Mitsubishi, Amada, Mazak or similar laser systems
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Nesting software or CNC programming knowledge
Must me able to complete a background check and pass a pre-employment drug test prior to starting and after offer is made.
