Mold Utility C shift

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform dimensional, functional testing, and visual quality checks according to appropriate procedures.
• Communicate non-conforming material (defects) to the quality group and management.
• Accurately complete required paperwork/documentation for the products being molded.
• Pack finished products into cartons and bags and affix content labels.
• Maintain an open line of communication to assure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Perform line clearances of equipment at end of and prior to production run.
• Ensure all labels are correct according to the work order information.
• Record problems during production such as defects found, sampling results, reasons for stoppages.
• Assist other team members in cross‑training and conduct on‑the‑job training of other associates.
• Transport all in‑process and finished materials by hand, trolley, forklift, or other means necessary to maintain production.
• Cycle count inventory and investigate discrepancies.
• Contain rejected raw materials, semi‑finished and finished goods; organize retrieval from warehouse stock locations and proper storage.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties as associated with job functions.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement teams and activities including 5S, blitzes, shift start‑up, KAS and Safety programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace environment (5S) including disposal of scrap totes and containment around ancillary equipment.
• Other duties as required to support business needs.

• Transport and containment of materials needed to support production.
• Keep immediate work area clean.
• Produce quality products per manufacturing documents.
• Produce accurate documentation.
• Document raw and finished material transactions properly.
• Comply with production reporting guidelines utilizing MES.

• High School Diploma/GED (preferred) or 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficient organizational, written and oral communication, math skills.
