Based in Columbus, NE (68601), this contract position offers a mid-shift schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with a two-hour window of flexibility. This five-month assignment, which may be extended, requires an in-person interview and the use of steel-toe footwear. Compensation is set at $20.50 per hour.
Primary Duties- Execute product reprocessing and parts management tasks by adhering to defined protocols.
- Conduct visual assessments and utilize basic measurement tools to ensure quality.
- Ensure all items are correctly packed, packaged, and labeled.
- Help maintain operational integrity by completing all production documentation and logs with precision.
- Adhere strictly to all established work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Support regulatory compliance by keeping records that align with FDA, GMP, and ISO 9000/13485 standards.
- Collaborate with your colleagues to ensure the team successfully meets its daily production targets.
- Adapt to changing needs by rotating through various stations and duties.
- Exercise sound judgment while following directives within the scope of set procedures.
- Contribute to a tidy and hazard-free workspace to promote a safe environment for everyone.
- Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and adaptability regarding shift timing.
- Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding technical specifications and instructions in English.
- Capability to execute fundamental math operations.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective team collaboration.
- A disciplined approach to following complex instructions and standardized workflows.
- Physical readiness for a hands-on, manual manufacturing setting.
- A proactive attitude toward rotating through different job functions.
- Flexibility to adjust your schedule or work extra hours when the business requires it.
- Prior work history within manufacturing, quality assurance, or production roles.
- Background in executing inspections or managing parts.
- Previous exposure to a regulated production facility.
- Familiarity with GMP, FDA, or ISO 9000/13485 compliance standards.
- Experience with in the medical device sector or similar highly regulated fields.
This role is centered on manual production tasks, requiring minimal computer interaction. You will only need basic familiarity with communication tools like Microsoft Teams or standard email platforms to succeed in this position.
