Clinic RN​/LPN Columbus General Surgery

40 hours per week; five days per week. As a member of the care team, this position works closely with surgeons and a gastroenterology specialist to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient triage and assessment; assisting with in-office minor procedures; and educating patients and families on treatment plans, as well as preoperative and postoperative care instructions.

Additional duties include referral management, appointment scheduling, and obtaining insurance pre-certifications for surgeries, diagnostic testing, and procedures. The ideal candidate demonstrates self-driven initiative, strong organizational skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. The ability to coordinate care across departments and effectively utilize resources through clear, professional verbal and nonverbal communication is essential.

A current Nebraska RN or LPN license and CPR certification are required. Experience in an outpatient clinic setting or specialty nursing is preferred.
