RN – OB (Acute Care)

Columbus, NE

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Acute Care Setting

• Provide direct patient care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units within an 8-suite LDRP environment
• Manage and monitor labor and delivery patients, including those with moderate to high-risk presentations
• Deliver postpartum care and support to patients and newborns following delivery
• Perform normal newborn care and assessments in the nursery setting
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and pediatric providers who follow standardized order sets for consistency of care
• Document patient care accurately using Paragon and GE Centricity Perinatal charting systems

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Nebraska or a valid Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an OB department
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Labor and delivery experience that includes moderate to high-risk patient care
• Experience with normal newborn care and postpartum nursing

• Familiarity with Paragon and/or GE Centricity Perinatal electronic charting systems
• Current CPI or MOAB certification (candidates without will be required to complete MOAB training onsite)

• Work within a collaborative, welcoming environment where travel staff are fully integrated into the care team alongside physicians, midwives, and nursing colleagues
• Practice at a Level 3 Trauma Facility serving a broad regional community, offering meaningful and varied clinical experience in OB acute care
