Job Summary:

Our team of highly trained professionals is comprised of passionate individuals who have dedicated their lives to caring for others, and we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatment planning, and administering medications. Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to address concerns and provide updates on patient status.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and guide nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs, ensuring adherence to care protocols and facility procedures.
- Ensure all nursing practices comply with state and federal regulations, including infection control, safety protocols, and resident rights.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to stabilize and manage acute situations.
- Participate in weekend, night, and holiday calls on a rotating basis.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program. - Licensure:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Columbus. - Experience:
2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not required. - Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
