RN - Operating Room

Columbus, NE | Acute Care

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Circulate across a range of surgical specialties including OBGYN (including C-sections), Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, and ENT
• Work within a 4-suite OR environment, plus additional rooms designated for minor procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and OR staff in a team-oriented surgical setting
• Assist with room turnover and cleaning as needed within a small department
• Serve as a second set of hands in the PACU during callback cases, supporting the primary recovery RN without independently recovering patients
• Maintain proficiency in total joint and orthopedic cases, including cases performed by visiting specialist physicians

• Active RN license with Operating Room specialty experience
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as an OR RN
• Strong proficiency and comfort with total joint and orthopedic surgical cases
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must obtain MOAB certification if CPI or MOAB is not already held (onsite course available)

• Experience in a rural or community hospital setting
• Familiarity with a broad surgical case mix including ENT, Urology, and OBGYN
• Comfort working in a small, cross-functional OR department with varied responsibilities

• Join a collaborative, close-knit OR team at a Level 3 Trauma Facility known for strong staff-surgeon relationships
• Scrubs are provided by the facility, and a streamlined hospital orientation process gets you into the department quickly
