Dietary Cook

Henderson Health Care Services (HHCS) is looking for a Dietary Cook to join their team. The role involves preparing meals for patients, residents, and guests in a fast-paced environment. The position is day shifts with hours up to full-time.

• Prepare meals for patients, residents, Meals on Wheels, and guests, ensuring proper timing and sanitary standards.
• Ensure portion control and produce high-quality finished products.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
• Follow cooking methods, maintain proper temperatures and cooking times, and prepare food according to standardized recipes.
• Estimate food requirements, control portions, and check equipment and kitchen areas for cleanliness and safety.
• Prepare and clean hospital trays, wash dishes, and maintain kitchen organization.
• Attend dietary meetings and assist in food prep when the Director of Dietary Services is absent.
• Abide by immunization/vaccination policies and perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 18 years old.
• Training or experience in quantity food preparation is preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
• No certificates or licenses required.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and handle food safely.
