Position Summary
Field Service Technician – Scottsbluff, NE
A Field Service Technician will serve as the first line of response, conducting installations, maintenance, and repairs for electromechanical equipment such as self‑checkout systems. The role involves rapid troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
- Service electromechanical equipment, including self‑checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.
- Local candidate to specific geographic area.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies fleet requirements.
- Proficient PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.
- Capacity to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Prepared for prolonged travel with driving several hours per day and rotating/weekend shifts.
- Ability to carry, lift tools and equipment up to 75 lbs. without assistance, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
- Physical ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and manipulate objects of varying size.
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification.
- One or more years of related experience.
Hourly Pay: $18 to $20, depending on location and experience.
Overtime: Available at time and a half.
