About the RoleBrightstar seeks a Lottery Field Services Technician in North Platt, NE, to service equipment at retailer locations. This role is part of our award‑winning lottery services team and involves regular fieldwork, driving, and customer support.
- Responsible for transporting, installing, and maintaining Brightstar equipment, replacement parts, tools, and supplies in an organized and structured manner.
- Attend driver training and follow Brightstar's vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of company vehicles.
- Maintain equipment to promote the continuous operation of Brightstar equipment.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to restore it to working order in the field.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with dispatchers. Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times, problems, details, and resolutions of failures to dispatch.
- Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts, such as paper, ribbons, and bet slips, and track the inventory of these items.
- Deliver basic training to new retailers or refresher/remedial training to retailers performing procedures incorrectly.
- Complete primary forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, and recommendations for procedure improvements.
- Company vehicle to take home for work use only (Field Services only, depending on location)

- High school degree or GED equivalent required.
- 2–3 years of experience in a customer‑service related position.
- 2–3 years of experience in technical repairs.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, have a good driving record, and be able to perceive colors correctly.
- Must be able to drive a 20‑ft box truck on occasion; CDL license not required.
- Physical requirements:
able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, transport with assistance up to 800 pounds, work at heights, in close quarters, and during inclement weather. - Must reside in proximity to the area of coverage.

Estimated starting compensation range: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour. Additional benefits include irregular discretionary bonuses, a 401(k) savings plan with company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity‑theft protection. Annual security training is required.
