Position Summary
The Senior Fire Suppression Technician & Future Operations Leader serves as Advanced Fire & Safety’s lead technical resource for Fire Suppression and Fire Extinguisher operations while developing the leadership skills necessary to support future growth within the organization.
This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and installing commercial kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers in accordance with applicable NFPA standards, manufacturer requirements, and AFS operating procedures.
In addition to technical responsibilities, this role is expected to mentor technicians, support training initiatives, contribute to operational improvement efforts, and prepare for future leadership opportunities within the Fire Protection Services division.
This position reports directly to the Owner until a Fire Protection Operations Manager position is established.

- Maintain accurate Smart Service records.

Qualifications Required- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of Fire Suppression experience
- Experience troubleshooting commercial kitchen fire suppression systems
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Ability to travel throughout Nebraska and Iowa
- Fire Extinguisher service experience
- NFPA 17A and NFPA 96 knowledge
- Leadership, mentoring, or training experience
