Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer designs, creates, maintains, audits and improves software applications by performing coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. This position designs solutions for complex projects, completes work with no supervision, mentors less experienced engineers, and advocates for improvements within the team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Research, design, implement, and manage software applications based on user requirements.
  • Write, test, and implement efficient code.
  • Maintain and develop existing applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.
  • Work within an Agile environment, respond to change quickly, including re‑focusing development efforts and adapting to evolving requirements.
  • Remain positive and solution‑oriented with team members and stakeholders.
  • Continuously update technical knowledge and skills.
  • Provide guidance to other engineers.
  • Coaches and mentors other team members.
  • Act as an influencer within the organization.
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    Experience
    • 5+ years of related experience.
    • Proficiency in Python and Java required.
    • Experience with AWS deployments required.
    • Experience with auto‑scaling design.
    • Experience deploying AI models in Bedrock framework.
    • Experience using AI coding assistants (Claude, Cursor, etc.).
    • Experience developing MCP and API custom connectors.

    • Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and management to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
