Transport Driver – Lunchtime Solutions

Location: On-site at Columbus School District

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable, team‑focused Transport Driver to support our school food service program. In this role, you’ll help keep meal service running smoothly by delivering food, supplies, and equipment between locations safely and on schedule. It’s an active, independent role that plays an important part in making sure students have meals ready when they need them.

• Deliver meals, food, and supplies to assigned locations following set routes and schedules
• Safely load and unload transport vehicles, moving food and equipment into designated areas at each site
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization for daily use
• Follow food safety and safety procedures, including proper handling, logging, and transport practices
• Communicate with team and supervisors about delivery needs, inventory, and vehicle concerns
• Help organize storage areas and support kitchen teams as needed, including stepping in when short‑staffed
• Follow all driving laws and company policies to ensure safe, efficient deliveries

• Valid driver's license and company‑insurable driving record
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while staying connected to the team
• Dependability, integrity, and strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move heavier items (up to 200 lbs. with equipment)
• Comfortable working in different environments, including kitchens, storage areas, and varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely drive, park, and maneuver delivery vehicles, including van or box truck

• Monday–Friday daytime schedule means no late nights, no weekends, and no holidays spent in a kitchen
