Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a highly organized and skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Clintonville, Ohio. The ideal candidate will manage essential accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including timely payments and collections.

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

- Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger with precision.

- Prepare cash flow statements to support financial planning and decision-making.

- Handle billing processes and resolve discrepancies as needed.

- Utilize Quick Books and Excel for efficient financial tracking and reporting.

- Ensure all transactions are documented and filed appropriately for auditing purposes.

- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and advanced knowledge of Excel.

- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Familiarity with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

- Knowledge of financial reporting and cash flow management.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
