Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant

• Assist with oversight of donor-restricted funds from private donors

  • Pull and review reports

  • Update and maintain data

  • Handle deposits

• Prepare journal entries

• Serve as backup for processing check runs

Required Qualifications for the Staff Accountant

• 2+ years of accounting experience beyond purely transactional work

• Strong Excel skills, including formulas and formatting

Preferred Experience

• Blackbaud

• Microsoft Teams
