Bookkeeper
Columbus, OH
Salary: $50k - 55k
Are you a detail‑driven Bookkeeper who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and keeping financial operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a full‑time Bookkeeper to join our client’s team and play a key role in managing the day‑to‑day accounting functions. If you enjoy reconciling accounts, working with both payables and receivables, and contributing to a mission‑focused organization, this could be a great fit.
WhatYou’ll Do
As the Bookkeeper, you will manage essential financial activities that support the health and efficiency of the operations, including:
Core Responsibilities- Oversee full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (approx. 10–20 weekly, 50–60 monthly)
- Reconcile donations received through auto‑payments, ACH, and cash
- Accurately process, record, and deposit incoming checks
- Maintain organized and up‑to‑date financial records
- Assist with month‑end closing procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Ideal candidates will have:
Preferred Qualifications- 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience with Quick Books
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and data entry)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
- High school diploma required; additional education in accounting or finance is preferred
