We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will be responsible for analyzing and managing product and operational costs, supporting inventory valuation, and providing insights that drive business performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze product costings, standard costs, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate inventory valuation and costing records
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Analyze manufacturing and operational costs to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting related to cost accounting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or operations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
