VISIONSPARK
STAFF ACCOUNTANT (ENTRY TO MID-LEVEL)
THE PERSON
Do you take pride in getting the details right and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? Are you someone who enjoys working with numbers, processes, and making sure everything is accurate and complete? Do you bring a steady, reliable presence even when priorities shift or issues arise? Are you the kind of person who follows through, checks your work, and takes ownership without needing to be asked?
If you are a dependable, detail-oriented team player who values accuracy and accountability, we want to talk to you!
Our ideal Staff Accountant is:
* Highly Accurate:
You have strong numerical awareness and a natural instinct to double-check your work. You catch mistakes early because you're paying attention.
* Dependable & Accountable:
You follow through on commitments and take ownership of your responsibilities. Others trust that if it's in your hands, it will get done.
* Organized & Process-Oriented:
You bring structure to your work and prefer clear, consistent ways of doing things. You don't cut corners and value doing things correctly.
* Team-Oriented:
You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and contribute to a positive, low-ego environment. You're easy to work with and prioritize team success.
* Composed & Practical:
You stay level-headed when handling deadlines, discrepancies, or uncomfortable conversations. You address issues directly and professionally.
This role is a great fit for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, or someone with hands-on experience who has built strong accounting fundamentals. What matters most is your attention to detail, timeliness of information and reports, willingness to take ownership, and ability to grow into the role. You'll gain exposure to how the business operates and become a trusted part of the team.
Over time, your work will play a key role in supporting visibility and keeping operations running smoothly.

SUCCESS MILESTONES
* 60 Days:
Takes ownership of core responsibilities including payroll prep, expense reviews, and AP/AR. Builds a strong understanding of systems, processes, and financial workflows.

Manages day-to-day accounting operations independently with consistency and accuracy. Supports month-end close and becomes a reliable resource for routine financial needs.
