What You'll Own:
  • Monthly bank reconciliations for various project bank accounts
  • Prepare and reconcile gross potential rent for multiple properties
  • Review monthly financials and ensure utilities are properly accounted for or accrued. Clean up and reclass items as needed.
  • Compile and send quarterly reports related to property operations and financial information to investors and lenders.
  • Assist in the coordination of the annual budgets
  • Compile annual audit workpaper packet and work with auditors to address questions or open items that arise from their review.
  • Participate in monthly portfolio review meeting for portfolio of properties assigned.
  • Work closely with Regional Managers and Regional Vice Presidents related to the financial needs of the properties.
  • Review / Approve weekly accounts payable requests for properties assigned.
  • Work closely with accounts payable accountants, accounting managers, and property managers
Who You Are:
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences and delays.
  • Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of intermediate level experience.
  • Real Estate accounting experience preferred.
