What You’ll Own:
Monthly bank reconciliations for various project bank accounts
Prepare and reconcile gross potential rent for multiple properties
Review monthly financials and ensure utilities are properly accounted for or accrued. Clean up and reclass items as needed.
Compile and send quarterly reports related to property operations and financial information to investors and lenders.
Assist in the coordination of the annual budgets
Compile annual audit workpaper packet and work with auditors to address questions or open items that arise from their review.
Participate in monthly portfolio review meeting for portfolio of properties assigned.
Work closely with Regional Managers and Regional Vice Presidents related to the financial needs of the properties.
Review / Approve weekly accounts payable requests for properties assigned.
Work closely with accounts payable accountants, accounting managers, and property managers
Who You Are:
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences and delays.
Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
What You’ll Bring :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
Minimum of 2+ years of intermediate level experience.
Real Estate accounting experience preferred.
