Senior Accountant

Our client, a well‑established and growing organization in the Columbus area, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their accounting team. • Prepare and review monthly general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes for multiple properties/entities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Review AP activity, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP
• Partner with Property Controllers and operations teams to provide financial insights
• Support external audits and year‑end reporting processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–6+ years of accounting experience (property management, real estate, or multi‑entity environment preferred)
• Strong general ledger and month‑end close experience
• Experience with property accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, Real Page, or similar is a plus
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
