What You’ll DoWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to lead complex accounting and tax engagements, ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables, and support client relationships. The role serves as a technical resource and mentor to the accounting team and plays a key role in maintaining firm standards, improving processes, and supporting leadership initiatives.
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
- Oversee accounting matters and close processes
- Lead tax research and apply guidance to client-specific scenarios
- Support advanced tax planning and advisory work
- Review financial statements and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance
- Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for clients
- Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and improvements
- Communicate complex accounting and tax matters clearly to clients with senior team members execution
- Ensure compliance with firm standards, policies and deadlines
- Provide technical guidance, coaching and mentorship
- Review work prepared by Accountants and Staff Accountants
- Assist with onboarding and training of new members
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2–5+ years of relevant combined accounting and tax experience in a local or regional CPA firm
- Proficiency in accounting and tax knowledge
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Ultra Tax) preferred
- CPA required
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to apply accounting principles and exercise professional judgment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including client interaction
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

- Base salary $80,000–85,000 plus discretionary bonus (dependent on experience)
