Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight of daily activities.
* Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules prepared by staff.
* Monitor general ledger activity and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.
* Support internal and external audit requests, including preparation of supporting documentation.
* Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies.
* Collaborate with finance, operations, and business leaders to address accounting and reporting needs.
* Ensure accuracy of financial records and adherence to applicable accounting standards.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
* 2+ years of prior supervisory or management experience.
* Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
* Experience leading or mentoring accounting staff in a corporate environment.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookups, and financial data analysis.
* Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to quickly learn business processes and make an immediate impact within a contract assignment.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $56.00 per hour
