Assistant Plant Controller
to support financial operations, drive cost improvement initiatives, and partner closely with plant leadership to enhance profitability and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operations and plant leadership to analyze and improve manufacturing performance
- Lead cost accounting activities, including product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
- Develop, maintain, and improve standard cost accounting methodologies
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs while identifying opportunities for cost reduction
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plan development
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
- Monitor inventory controls and ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reconciliations
- Support ERP/MRP system optimization and reporting enhancements
- Coordinate and facilitate internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit activities
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, or plant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial analysis
- Experience working within an ERP/MRP environment
- Knowledge of GAAP and internal control processes
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
