Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level accountant to join Hexion's financial shared services team in Columbus, Ohio. This role prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, and supports the monthly close for the shared services accounting areas. The accountant will contribute to a timely and accurate month-end close, partner with regional controllership and shared services counterparts, and support ongoing process improvement initiatives. This role is expected to cover a subset of these areas - with the specific mix assigned based on team needs and the candidate's development goals - and to broaden over time. This breadth provides strong exposure across the controllership function and multiple paths for professional growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career accountant to build a strong technical foundation within a global manufacturing company.
