Growing manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead key accounting and financial reporting activities while partnering closely with finance and operational leadership. This is a highly visible role with opportunities to drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Support revenue recognition and technical accounting matters
- Provide oversight of accounts payable operations
- Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities
- Partner with leadership to analyze financial results and support decision-making
- Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience required
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, GAAP, and accounting operations
- Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
