Peerless Search Partners has partnered with a growing organization to identify a Director of Property Accounting
. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced property accounting professional who enjoys managing a team, improving processes, and serving as a key financial partner to the broader organization.

The right candidate will bring strong property accounting experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a complex portfolio while continuing to improve the accounting function.

• Lead the property accounting function and oversee day-to-day accounting operations
• Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Review financial statements and reporting for accuracy and completeness
• Manage accounting across a diverse portfolio of properties and entities
• Partner with internal stakeholders to address accounting and reporting needs
• Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen the overall accounting function

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Significant property accounting experience
• Previous accounting leadership or management experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience managing multiple entities and complex accounting structures
• Strong Excel and accounting systems skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to operate independently while working collaboratively with leadership and other departments
• CPA is a plus
