Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting a growing multi-entity accounting function. This position offers broad exposure to financial reporting, project accounting, fixed assets, acquisition activity, and business integration initiatives. • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reports
• Manage balance sheet accounts and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Support job cost accounting, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, and project profitability analysis
• Partner with operations, project managers, and finance leadership
• Assist with acquisition accounting, due diligence, and integration efforts
• Identify process improvement opportunities and strengthen internal controls
• Mentor junior accounting staff and support the continued growth of the accounting function

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably within construction, utilities, infrastructure, or other project-based industries
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting
• Job cost accounting and WIP reporting experience preferred
• Multi-entity accounting experience preferred
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience with ERP systems required
