Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to help maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting activities for our client in Columbus, Ohio. This position requires hands-on experience with Quick Books Online and Desktop, along with the ability to manage payables, receivables, and reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable contributing to reporting processes that support sound financial decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Record financial transactions in Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop while keeping ledgers current and accurate.
• Oversee accounts payable activities by reviewing invoices, preparing payments, and ensuring vendors are paid on time.
• Manage accounts receivable tasks, including issuing invoices, tracking incoming payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and maintain reliable financial data.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and ensure financial records are complete and easy to retrieve.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and summaries to support monthly and periodic review activities.
• Monitor transaction details for accuracy and resolve bookkeeping issues in a timely manner.
