Full-time Corporate Accountant Join Our Team at Atrium Centers

Atrium Centers, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-time Corporate Accountant to join our team on-site in Columbus, Ohio. About the Role:

As our new Full-time Corporate Accountant
, you will be responsible for providing technical accounting expertise and support to our financial teams. Your duties will include:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements for Atrium Centers and related entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company time frames.

  • Reconcile accounts and maintain supporting documentation to ensure financial statement integrity.

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, with particular focus on cash and accounts receivable.

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries for the general ledger.

  • Maintain company fixed asset records, including depreciation and amortization schedules.

  • Complete periodic HUD Replacement Reserve requests and maintain all required supporting records.

  • Assist with annual CPA, Medicare, Medicaid, and HUD audits and reviews as needed.

  • Support yearly budget preparation and periodic budget revisions.

  • Assist with preparation of annual Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; preferred. CPA or CPA candidate a plus.

  • A minimum of three years of overall accounting experience with an emphasis on financial statement preparation experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and an ability to apply those principles

  • Experience leading or significantly contributing to projects a plus.

  • Experience managing deadlines and being able to take complete ownership of assigned tasks.

  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.

    Knowledge of Sage Intacct a plus.
