Accounting Manager

We are looking for an
Accounting Manager
to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a great opportunity for an accounting leader to help build and shape a growing finance organization, balancing hands-on close responsibilities with real influence over people, process, and controls, in a hybrid role based in Easton.

• Achieve and exceed performance, budget, and team goals
• Maintain a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard company assets
• Assist in the preparation and completion of monthly financial reporting
• Conduct and prepare month-end standard journal entries with supporting documentation, ensuring a timely close
• Monitor new product offerings, business initiatives, and efficiency projects to assess impact on existing processes and implement necessary changes
• Help build a capable, efficient, and sustainable accounting organization across people, process, and systems
• Assist in designing internal controls and policies in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
• Participate in cross-functional projects to drive enhancements across the broader finance function

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Analytical mindset with strategic ability
• Prior management experience

• A genuine hand in building the accounting function's people, process, and systems, not just maintaining what exists
• Exposure to SOX control design and cross-functional finance initiatives
• Visibility into how new products and business initiatives shape accounting processes
