Hixen Search Group is partnering with a growing and highly stable manufacturing company in Columbus to identify a staff accountant to join its accounting team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced accounting team and can take on increasing responsibility as they grow within the organization.
Responsibilities- Assist with month-end close across multiple business entities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
- Support various general accounting activities and projects
- Work collaboratively with members of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial information

Desired Candidate Profile- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred but not required
- 2-3 years experience preferred, but would consider 1+ years
- Public accounting is good but not required
- Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
