The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

Extremely reliable.

Entry-level to 4-5 years of experience in a payroll position.

Desire to learn.

Ability to multitask is a must.

Ability to prioritize and adjust in an often-times fast-paced environment with sudden changes.

Great computer and typing skills, with experience using the Microsoft Office suite and Google tools: exceptional knowledge of Excel, and the Google platform (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.)

Great Internet skills. At least an advanced, highly comfortable knowledge of internet search and research engines.

Must have excellent communication skills (verbal / written) and feel comfortable making and answering phone calls.

A passion for being organized with attention to detail and follow-up.

A pleasant, people-oriented individual with energy and an enthusiasm for being a Teammate that can be counted on to provide great support and service to our Teammates, vendors & suppliers.

Available to work overtime when required.

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

Providing support to the Payroll team, including but not limited to: processing weekly payroll, reviewing and verifying timekeeping and leave records for accuracy and compliance with policies, maintaining accurate and confidential payroll and personnel records, responding to Teammate questions related to pay, deductions and tax information, updating payroll records, processing employment verification and data requests, and ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and FLSA regulations.

Secondary support but important assistance to multiple administrative departments, including Human Resources Administration, Business Development, Legal, and Finance.

Maintain clear and effective communication with vendors and Teammates, as well as bring issues to the Director of Human Resources Administration. Assist management in identifying opportunities for improvement, providing solutions, and resolving problems when applicable.

This is an hourly position that may regularly require overtime. This position requires full-time in-office attendance for at least the first 6-9 months, and may offer a limited hybrid schedule after that, based on performance. The pay range is $22.00-$28.00/hour
, based on experience.
