Human Resources Assistant
Onsite - Columbus, OH
Hourly Pay Range: $17 - $27/Hour
Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. We are seeking a highly organized and service‑oriented Human Resources Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and employee‑facing support within our dynamic Human Resources team.
- Prepare and distribute a wide range of documents and communications.
- Coordinate interviews and onboarding activities for temporary employees.
- Help create new hire and baby announcements, manage job postings, update bulletin boards, and compile annual review packets.
- Track performance review completions and maintain accurate data across reports, spreadsheets, and HR systems.
- Support employee experience by assisting with company events, recognition programs, and special‑occasion arrangements.
- Greet employees and visitors, offer translation support when needed, and ensure efficient processing of HR invoices and department supplies.
- Create employee badges and access credentials, support receptionist coverage, and handle everyday tasks such as copying, scanning, mailing, and file maintenance.
- Must have at least a high school diploma with a proven ability to perform.
- Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred.
- Maintain information in a confidential manner; confidentiality is paramount and any infraction is cause for dismissal.
- Good command of English grammar and spelling; ability to translate with written and verbal Spanish is preferred.
- Positive, personable, professional, and business‑like demeanor.
- Good attendance, dependability, and quality of work performance.
