The OSU Extension Hardin County Summer Student Assistant will work administratively under all three program areas. They will be expected to work cooperatively with local 4-H, Master Gardener, and FCS volunteers; members of the Hardin County 4-H program; and clientele of the OSU Extension office. This includes assisting with coordination, facilitation, and management of various tasks and events. These tasks will be related to 4-H project judging, agriculture research, project workshops, and various Extension programs.
Tasks may include sample collections, data entry, scouting field research sites, teaching and facilitation, marketing, and other duties determined by the student's skills.
Standard hours for this position will be 24 hours per week.
