Agency Overview
The Supreme Court of Ohio is seeking to fill the position of Intern in the Judicial College. The intern will work closely with the Judicial College staff on the data verification project and assist with various administrative functions.
The intern will monitor and track profile updates within OhioCourt
EDU, verify account information, and contact users by phone or email to ensure accuracy and consistency of records. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with learning management system (LMS) tasks, new account verification, and other administrative support to the office.
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Data Verification: Assist with the Judicial College’s user data verification initiative by monitoring and tracking profile updates within OhioCourt
EDU through system reporting on newly implemented data fields - Accuracy & Consistency: Ensure accuracy and consistency of user accounts within the system
- User Communication: Verify user account information and contact users by phone or email to confirm or update data when necessary
- LMS Support: Provide assistance with learning management system (LMS) tasks, including new account verification
- Administrative Support: Perform additional administrative functions to support the operations of the office
STAFF SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate or graduate student.
COMPETENCIES
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to review, verify, and maintain accurate records
- Communication
Skills:
Effective written and verbal communication for user outreach and internal coordination - Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, database entry, and electronic filing systems
- Preferred Experience: Coursework or background in information systems, data management, or public administration (helpful but not required)
This internship is designed to be part-time (15 hours per week) beginning after September 1, 2026, and ending before December 31, 2026. Applicants must have the ability to schedule most on-site hours in Columbus between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm weekdays (scheduling is flexible within these hours). If your university program offers credit for internships, we will try to tailor the internship to the length/hours desired.
This position will pay $17 per hour to undergraduate students and $21 per hour to graduate students. Intern positions are only eligible for public retirement benefits through OPERS.
