Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on an entry level AP Disbursement Specialist. The AP Disbursement Specialist will work collaboratively with the other finance teams to process invoices, maintain accurate records and support the execution of daily payment runs including ACH and check disbursements.
Support the end-to-end Accounts Payable process
Responsibilities- Support the end-to-end Accounts Payable process
- Execute and assist with payment runs, including:
- ACH (electronic payments)
- Check processing and distribution
- Review and update payment reports to ensure accuracy
- Process invoices scheduled for payment
- Coordinate payment approvals with internal teams (e.g., Treasury)
- Prepare, print, and distribute checks (mail/Fed Ex)
- Maintain organized records of payments and documentation
- Assist with data entry and administrative tasks as needed

- High school diploma
- Past customer service, office admin, data entry or clerical background
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn
- High attention to detail and accuracy and enjoys routine
- Comfortable performing repetitive, structured tasks
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, internal software (Sage) Exposure to accounting or finance environments
- Worked with Accounts Payable or invoicing in the past
