On behalf of the Vehicle Information Services (VIS) Chief & Assistant Chief, act as administrative support by relieving superior of routine administrative duties, making recommendations regarding program activities and assisting in developing new procedures related to established program policy.
- Greet and respond to in‑person, telephone and/or written inquiries in a professional, courteous, friendly, respectful and timely manner to ensure positive internal and external customer service.
- Listen carefully to internal and external customers’ questions and/or concerns and ask appropriate follow‑up questions to verify understanding.
- Provide a complete, knowledgeable, accurate, precise response immediately or provide a firm commitment as to when a response will be provided.
- Follow‑up to ensure all customers’ questions and/or concerns have been thoroughly answered.

Eligibility can be met through one of the following options:
- Option 1: 18 months experience or training in the secretarial/administrative professional field.
- Option 2:
Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from an accredited career school or community college. - Option 3:
Six months experience as Administrative Professional 1, 16871, or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
