Operations Specialist - Securities Administration

Location:

Bank Plaza – Wheeling, WV and Henderson Rd – Columbus, OH (Full‑time, in‑office)

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Clerical experience preferred.
Summary

The Operations Specialist works as part of a team to track and record incoming business, create electronic and/or paper files, and record and submit required reports to management and the clearing firm. The position also supports customer service and investment advisors, handling incoming calls and service issues in a prompt and courteous manner. Multitasking across these tasks is critical.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive calls and handle issues from customers, advisors, management, and others.
  • Maintain knowledge of procedures and documents needed for account opening and editing.
  • Process required documents for incoming and outgoing advisors with insurance carriers and mutual fund companies.
  • Compile daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Work with the team to meet departmental goals and create efficiencies when possible.
Other Requirements
  • Acquire and maintain proficiency in the bank’s policies and procedures; adhere to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service skills.
  • Perform general administrative/clerical tasks.
  • Be detail‑oriented and accurate.
  • Have excellent organization skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal and reasoning skills.
  • Understand general accounting.
  • Possess accurate keyboarding skills.
  • Be able to work with deadlines.
  • Be able to handle travel to assigned offices.
  • Possess proven sales skills, be proactive and generate opportunities.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
