Position OverviewThe Administrative Coordinator supports the college and the Office of Faculty Affairs by managing faculty communications, coordinating events, and providing administrative support to the dean’s leadership team and the faculty affairs office.
This role is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining the faculty affairs website and resource materials; managing and distributing the faculty affairs newsletter; overseeing Fisher faculty listservs and assisting with distributing communications to faculty while maintaining accurate records.
This position will also coordinate and provide oversight for internal faculty events, such as faculty orientation, lunch‑and‑learns, faculty and college meetings, and special events, collaborating with faculty, staff, and leadership to ensure effective event execution and alignment with university policies and college priorities while maintaining records and documentation related to events. Additionally, the role will help support college conferences, departmental and accreditation reviews.
Other responsibilities include providing administrative support for the dean’s leadership team by helping to schedule college committee meetings, preparing materials, and supporting college leadership on an ad‑hoc basis by serving as a backup to the Executive Assistant for the Dean. The Administrative Coordinator also supports the Faculty Affairs Manager with the faculty review process, faculty activity reporting in Interfolio, and capturing faculty activities by collecting faculty records, including peer reviews of teaching and student evaluations of instruction, and ensuring documents are distributed and archived appropriately.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4 years of experience working with event planning, internal communications, administrative support, or a related field.
- Associate degree and/or 6 years of relevant experience including communications, event management, and higher education administration.
- Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools, intranet platforms, and email list management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across units.
- The target hiring range is $24.76 - $32.33 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on education, experience, internal equity, and other factors.
