Registration & Records Specialist – Department:
Strategic Enrollment | University Registrar
- Provide administrative, communication, and organizational support within the Testing Center of the University Registrar's office.
- Serve as a customer service point of contact for the office phone line and email accounts.
- Triage immediate customer issues and/or route them to the appropriate department or campus office.
- Create, maintain, and update reference and resource materials.
- Greet students, visitors, and faculty and direct them when they arrive at the Testing Center.
- Ensure the security of test materials and the integrity of the testing process.
- Facilitate the administration of paper and computer‑based examinations for candidates, providing instruction on testing policies, procedures, security measures, and score reporting.
- Act as a proctor and monitor testing sessions.
- Schedule appointments via phone and provide information on cancellation and rescheduling policies.
- Send standard confirmation emails to registered examinees.
- Ensure examinees are always proctored and that materials are neither taken into nor out of the testing center.
- Maintain accurate, orderly, and secure examination files.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (required).
- 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred; strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and database management desired.
Target hiring rate: $18.37/hr this is an 18‑month term position.
