Graduate Programs and Office Coordinator
The VBS Resident/Graduate Programs Coordinator supports the combined Pathology Residency/PhD training program containing upwards of 20 trainees, as well as graduate students of VBS advisors and the VBS Visitor/Volunteer Program. The Coordinator manages submitted externship and combined program application materials; coordinates extern/candidate visits/interviews including travel, lodging, meals and visits with faculty and graduate students, and collates evaluations; organizes onboarding and orientation week, including information booklet and meetings.
The Coordinator assists with administrative maintenance of electronic One
45/Qualtrics evaluation system, including deploying annual to biannual evaluations of faculty/residents/program and preparation of veterinary student/resident/faculty/program evaluation summary reports. The Coordinator also supports VBS graduate education including utilization of SIS and Carmen/Canvas; requesting course numbers; posting grades; preparation of syllabi, notes and exams; room scheduling; and ensuring registration of appropriate courses by deadlines. The Coordinator will attend VBS Combined Program Committee and CVM Council for Graduate Studies meetings and provide administrative support to the Committee Co-Chairs.
The Coordinator will create positions, initiate entry of new hires including JED and graduate fee authorizations; assist and advise regarding visa issues; serve as primary contact for payroll/benefits questions. The Coordinator will also cover telephone inquiries, create shipping labels for the department, assist in departmental monthly and annual events, as well as other departmental administrative duties as assigned. The Coordinator will also be responsible for administrative support on activities related to the office of the Chair.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's level degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications:
Experience supporting educational programs in a higher education environment; knowledge of and experience utilizing SIS; experience working with graduate and/or resident programs; experience in Workday and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Target Salary Range: $ 18.37 - $23.99 per hour ; commensurate with experience, internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
