Office of Child Support
Child Support Statement:
This position is in the Office of Child Support (OCS) which establishes policies and guidelines for the child support program based on federal and state laws. Ohio's child support program provides services to help ensure that children receive the financial and medical support they are legally entitled to and deserve. What You Will Do
This position helps ensure Ohio child support payments are collected, processed, and disbursed accurately. The role includes vendor oversight, support for county child support agencies, and monitoring payment operations to keep services running smoothly.
- Monitor the vendor’s performance and ensure contract requirements are met.
- Work with county agencies and employers to resolve payment issues and delays.
- Review payment data, identify problems or trends, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Use Excel and other data tools to track accuracy, performance, and reporting metrics.
- Conduct call center quality reviews and recommend improvements.
- Provide clear guidance to counties, partner agencies, and the public.
- Assess operations and develop or update procedures to improve performance.
- Draft policy or process changes as needed.
- Assist with system updates, testing, and process improvements.
- Maintain program documentation, assist with training, and coordinate projects.

- Ability to work with multiple data sets and use Excel (sorting, filtering, reports).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and ability to handle multiple deadlines.

- Proficiency with computers, multiple systems, and virtual collaboration tools.
Schedule: Full-time
Hours: W orkdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Travel: Occasional travel within the state of Ohio.
