Position OverviewInterior Installations is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate installation schedules, delivery logistics, resources, and project communications for commercial furniture projects. This role works closely with clients, project managers, vendors, warehouses, and installation teams to support timely project execution, address schedule changes, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and maintain installation schedules, project calendars, delivery timelines, and related project documentation.
Schedule installation crews, subcontractors, delivery resources, and other support teams to meet project timelines.
Coordinate delivery schedules with vendors, warehouses, project managers, and installation teams.
Monitor project milestones and installation progress to ensure schedule adherence.
Communicate schedule updates, changes, delays, and completion status to internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively identify scheduling conflicts, logistics challenges, and changing project priorities, and assist with resolution.
Support project managers with job folders, reporting, administrative tasks, and project-related communications.
Participate in operations and project meetings to review upcoming schedules, resource planning, and project status.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of three years of commercial furniture installation project-based staffing or scheduling experience required.
Experience in commercial office furniture, logistics, project coordination, installation scheduling, or related industries preferred.
Working knowledge of commercial furniture installation, delivery coordination, warehousing, project administration, or contract furniture management is a plus.
Required SkillsExceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze, plan, schedule, and coordinate project installations and delivery logistics.
Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, project managers, and installation teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and scheduling software.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
