Administrative Assistant

This role involves managing frontline client communications, coordinating essential financial processing, managing vendor ordering, and providing critical administrative support to the Columbus laboratory team. The ideal candidate will balance meticulous organization with a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced, time-sensitive laboratory environment. This is a 1st shift, Mon-Fri position.

• Issue approved purchase orders for laboratory consumables, chemical reagents, office supplies, contractor services, and facility invoices.
• Coordinate building maintenance calls, manage office equipment servicing, and handle incoming and outgoing mail.
• Greet visitors, vendors, and couriers, ensuring all safety and non-disclosure sign-in protocols are strictly followed.
• Manage phone systems and emails, routing client inquiries regarding sample updates or testing results to the correct technical team.
• Work closely with the operations team to compile completed sample testing records and generate accurate client invoices as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
