Job DescriptionPerforms daily office tasks for Juvenile Intervention Center including filing, maintaining confidential records, copying, data entry, distributing mail, etc. Follows procedures unique to JIC, e.g., searches mail for contraband and schedules visitation. Operates multi-line telephone and transfers incoming calls to appropriate parties. Responds to inquiries about JIC and Court. Updates detainee and staff information in respective tracking systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Assists Superintendent and other JIC management with projects and assignments.
- Monitors PREA phone line and relays messages to the ODRC.
- High School Degree or GED required.
- 0-2 years of clerical experience; strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word.
