Job OverviewBob‑Boyd Lincoln is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Lincoln vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards. The ideal candidate understands the importance of quality, attention to detail, and customer experience in a luxury automotive environment.
This position is well suited for a technician who values clean processes, factory training, and working in a professional, brand‑driven service department.
Compensation$85,000 – $135,000 based on previous experience, certifications, competence, and productivity.
Job Type & Schedule- Full time
- Day shift
- Monday through Friday
- With rotating Saturdays
- Ability to commute to Columbus, OH required
- In‑person, on‑site position
- Valid driver’s license required
- Diagnose and repair Lincoln vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Perform routine maintenance and advanced mechanical and electrical repairs
- Use Lincoln and Ford diagnostic tools and software to resolve vehicle concerns
- Complete warranty repairs and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Conduct multi‑point inspections and recommend maintenance and repair services
- Road‑test vehicles to verify proper operation and repair quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs and timelines
- Stay current on Lincoln training, certifications, and technical bulletins
- 5 years of luxury automotive service technician experience or equivalent preferred
- Lincoln or Ford certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills
- Experience working with modern vehicle systems, including advanced driver assistance systems
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school or technical training preferred
